LAMONT, CA (February 18, 2025) – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle at South Fairfax Road and Di Giorgio Road in Lamont on Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. on February 13. According to the California Highway Patrol, an unknown vehicle hit the bicyclist in unclear circumstances.
 
Emergency responders took the bicyclist to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.
 
It was unclear if the driver of the vehicle stayed after the crash.
