Juan Garcia Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Bob Hope Drive [Rancho Mirage, CA]

40-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Rancho Mirage

 
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (February 9, 2025) – Juan Garcia was killed in a pedestrian accident in Rancho Mirage Thursday afternoon on February 6.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 5:00 p.m. at Bob Hope Drive and Columbia Drive, across the street from Eisenhower Health. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Garcia was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
Responding emergency crews attempted saving him, but he died at the scene.
 
Garcia was a 40-year-old Indio resident, according to the coroner’s office.
 
Investigators said the driver remained on the scene. No arrests were made at this time.
 
The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
