18-Month-Old Sebastian Chavez Killed in Hit-and-Run Two-Car Accident on Nordhoff Street near Langdon Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 19, 2021) — Sebastian Chavez died in a hit-and-run two-car crash on Nordhoff Street near Langdon Avenue Sunday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the deadly event happened around 7:35 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a silver Honda CRV made a left onto Langdon Avenue from westbound Nordhoff Street but crashed into, what reports say, a gray Toyota Camry heading eastbound on Nordhoff Street.
 
As a result, the impact caused the Honda driver to accelerate onto the sidewalk. Subsequently, the Honda struck 18-year-old Gerardo Sebastian Chavez Morales in his stroller, as well as a woman with him.
 
Tragically, the child died at a local hospital, but loved ones have created a GoFundMe page to bring awareness and garner support.
 
As for the motorists involved, the Honda driver, albeit traumatized, stayed at the scene but the other driver left.
