Girl Suffers Injuries after Hit by Car at 9th Avenue and Cherry Street
OAKLAND, CA (October 23, 2021) – A girl was injured in a pedestrian accident at 98th Avenue and Cherry Street in Oakland Wednesday morning.
The accident happened just before 8:00 a.m. on October 13, near Elmhurst Middle School. According to the Oakland Police Department, the girl was walking in the area when a car hit her.
The girl’s parents then rushed her to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
It is unknown if the driver of the car has stayed or fled after the crash.
Police are still investigating the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
