26-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Palmdale
PALMDALE, CA (May 7, 2024) – Miguel Negrete was killed in a pedestrian accident in Palmdale Monday evening on May 6.
The fatal accident happened around 9:50 p.m. in the 200 block of East Palmdale Boulevard. According to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, Negrete was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
As a result, Negrete suffered blunt force trauma and died at the scene. He was 26 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
It is unknown if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
Deputies are still investigating the fatality to determine the cause and factors involved.
