1 Dies in Motorcycle Crash on 7th Street in San Jacinto

 
SAN JACINTO, CA (July 22, 2024) — One person died in a motorcycle accident on 7th Street and Hewitt Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly two-vehicle crash happened around 7:40 a.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a motorcyclist collided with a sedan at the intersection. Upon impact, the rider was ejected from the bike and suffered severe injuries upon landing on the road.
 
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived within 10 minutes of the accident and pronounced him dead at the scene. Officials did not release his name. As for the driver, that individual suffered minor injuries and declined hospital care.
 
Following the incident, CHP officers and sheriff’s deputies closed the area to investigate the cause. However, traffic detectives could not confirm what led to the crash.
