Rodney Yeager, Lucas Nunes Die in Solo-Car Crash on County Road 34 at Road X
GLENN COUNTY, CA (July 19, 2024) — Rodney Yeager and Lucas Nunes died in a single-car accident on County Road 34 at Road X.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car crash happened around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, 44-year-old Yeager did not slow down or turn at the County Road 34 and Road X intersection. Subsequently, his Ford F-250 drove across County Road 34 and crashed into an embankment.
Yeager and his 45-year-old passenger from Willows — Lucas Nunes — passed away at the scene. Officials have yet to identify if impairment factored into the cause.
