FOOTHILL FARMS, CA (August 25, 2024) – One person sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Elkhorn Boulevard, Friday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on August 23, at about 2:40 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, at least two vehicles collided near the area of Elkhorn Boulevard and Andrea Boulevard.
 
Emergency crews transported one person to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
 
No other major injuries were reported.
 
Responders temporarily closed the area to make way for an investigation and clearing operations.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
