Man Airlifted after Single-Vehicle Rollover Accident on Thunderbird Road near Candlewood Road in Apple Valley

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (August 25, 2024) – Four people sustained injuries in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Thunderbird Road, Wednesday evening.
 
According to the Apple Valley Fire Protection District, the incident happened on August 21, at about 6:21 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a white 2002 Chevy Suburban became involved in an accident between Mesquite Road and Candlewood Road.
 
The vehicle then overturned and came to a rest on its side.
 
A Mercy Air helicopter later transported the male driver to a trauma center. Three passengers, identified as an adult woman and two juveniles, were transported to a local hospital.
 
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officials will release additional information once it becomes available.
