Rollover Accident on Lytle Creek Road Leaves One Person Dead
LYTLE CREEK, CA (August 4, 2024) – One person was killed in a rollover accident on Lytle Creek Road Friday evening on August 2.
The fatal accident happened around 8:20 p.m., about 2 to 3 miles north of Glen Helen Parkway. According to the California Highway Patrol, an unknown vehicle was traveling on the roadway when it lost control and overturned onto the westbound lanes.
First responders found a female passenger severely injured, and showing signs of bleeding and difficulty breathing.
Despite life-saving efforts, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. It was unclear if the victim was the severely injured passenger or the driver.
The identity of the deceased is pending notification of next of kin.
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
