Vath Touch, Off-Duty Firefighter Involved in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 in Lodi

 
LODI, CA (August 28, 2024) – Stockton resident Vath Touch suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 99, Friday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on August 23, at about 9:42 a.m. Touch was on his way to work when when another car sped up behind him, seemingly wanting him to move over.
 
The two vehicles ended up colliding near Harley Lane and Armstrong Road.
 
As per reports, the driver of the second vehicle approached Touch, leading to a heated confrontation.
 
Officials later identified the other driver as an off-duty Alameda County firefighter. The department later announced that the firefighter had been placed on paid administrative leave while an investigation into the incident is conducted. The firefighter’s identity was not released.
 
Meanwhile, Touch reportedly suffered minor lower back injuries.
