1 Dead in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 50 in West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (September 30, 2024) — One person died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 50 near Harbor Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly multi-vehicle crash happened around 2:54 a.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a person operating a motorcycle crashed into a vehicle. Subsequently, a second car struck the motorcyclist before that same vehicle collided with another driver.
Soon after, police officers and emergency personnel responded. However, the motorcyclist passed away at the scene. Officials have not released the victim’s name.
