Jose Nunez Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Kimbal Avenue [Chino, CA]

31-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by SUV in Chino

 
CHINO, CA (October 22, 2024) – Jose Nunez was hit and killed by a vehicle in Chino Sunday morning on October 20.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:40 a.m. in the 7500 block of Kimball Avenue. According to the Chino Police Department, Nunez was walking west in the second lane of Kimball Avenue when a 2022 Range Rover struck him.
 
The impact caused Nunez fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was a 31-year-old Cudahy man.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, 41-year-old Chukwufumnaanya Asiodu of Eastvale, stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
No arrests were made. The crash is still under investigation.
