SAN DIEGO, CA (October 25, 2024) — A man was injured in a motorcycle accident on Paradise Valley Road at Briarwood Road.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the motorcycle accident happened around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a 63-year-old woman driving a westbound 2015 Toyota Prius entered the intersection and collided with a 60-year-old motorcyclist. According to reports, the motorcyclist was heading eastbound before turning left from the dedicated left turn lane onto northbound Briarwood Road.
 
The impending crash caused the man to drop his motorcycle before he slid into the woman’s vehicle.
 
Moments later, paramedics responded and took the injured motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of facial fractures and a brain bleed.
