Bicyclist Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Normandie Avenue in South LA
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (November 18, 2024) – Oscar Guardado was killed in a hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles last month on October 27.
The fatal crash happened around 9:55 p.m. on Normandie Avenue near 23rd Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Guardado was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle.
After the crash, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.
Guardado suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 42 years old.
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large.
